The FreeStyle Libre 14-Day Sensor is a small, water-resistant CGM sensor worn on the back of the upper arm. Once applied, it continuously measures glucose levels just below the skin and stores readings until you scan it with your FreeStyle Libre reader or compatible smartphone app.
Unlike fingerstick checks that only offer single-point measurements, this sensor provides trend information to help you understand where your glucose is heading. It is painless to apply, comfortable to wear, and designed to stay securely on the skin for up to 14 days.
Each scan provides:
- Current glucose value
- Trend arrow
- 8 hours of glucose history
This allows users to better understand glucose patterns and make more informed decisions throughout the day and night.
